Through Erasmus +, iDROPS is co-organizing the Find Your Talent, Use Your Skills project in collaboration with Avedan, Youth Act and Imago Mundi.
The target? Share the best practices regarding talent development within youth work, develop new methods and a guide and test all this with youth workers and young people. There are 4 training weeks for this, one in each country.
The first training was with us in Ghent and was given by Jens, Laura and Gauthier. 20 youth workers from Romania, Poland and the Netherlands took part.
The entire week we worked on how you can apply Human-Centered Design within youth work and talent development. The participants received the theoretical framework through iDROPS, alongside the best practices, with inspiration from other partners in youth work from Ghent and Ostend. They learned in an interactive way how such a process goes and they themselves came up with new ideas for talent development.
Of course, a visit to the historic center of Ghent was also on the program.
The next training will take place in Romania in April and will be given by Imago Mundi.
